Meet the Artist

Nicole R. Carrin is a contemporary artist based in Knoxville, TN. She holds a degree in Business Management from a local community college and a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Lee University, a Christian institution in Cleveland, TN. Although her academic path began in business, she later felt called by God to pursue art, a shift that continues to shape both her life and creative expression.

After 2018, God called Nicole to fully pursue Him, and in that calling, she began creating vibrant, whimsical paintings that express the heart of God, capturing His beauty, freedom, and love in color, movement, and form. She has shared her gift through live prophetic painting at worship events and exhibitions, where the process is just as meaningful as the finished piece.

Her clientele continues to grow, and her deepest desire is that every brushstroke glorifies God and reflects His presence in the world. Through her work, Nicole seeks to inspire, encourage, and bring others into a space where faith and creativity intersect.

Artist Statement

My artwork is an outward, abstract expression of my inner world. God directs my hand and places a hidden message within every piece, though the final interpretation is left to the viewer. I create colorful, joy-filled abstract work marked by movement and play that seeks to express the heart of God where words may fail to do Him justice. Passion drives my creative process, and each piece is thoughtfully prayed over. Every emotion within me, the good, the bad, and the ugly, is pulled forward, transforming what begins as an untamed mess into something beautiful, much like the way God turns our messes into masterpieces.

I often incorporate elements of nature and work with a variety of mediums, colors, and textures, allowing the eye to move playfully across the canvas. The majority of my work is prophetic-driven, guided by God as He gives the initial vision and leads me throughout the creative process. Each piece becomes an act of obedience, surrender, and trust, allowing the work to speak where words cannot.
